Before your visit
Pre-Treatment Guide
A short, practical checklist for the week before your visit and the morning of treatment. If anything is unclear, message your coordinator — they will walk you through it.
The week before
Confirm your medical history
Share any updates to medications, allergies, or recent illness so your specialist can plan safely.
Stop blood-thinners only on advice
Never stop prescribed medication on your own. Your specialist will tell you exactly what (if anything) to pause and when.
Sleep, hydrate, eat well
Healing starts before treatment. Arrive rested, hydrated, and fed — especially before longer surgical visits.
Plan a quiet first 24 hours
For surgical or implant appointments, keep the rest of the day free. No demanding meetings, intense workouts, or heavy meals.
What to bring on the day
- A valid ID (passport for international patients)
- A list of current medications and dosages
- Existing X-rays, CBCT scans, or treatment plans (digital or printed)
- Sunglasses — bright operatory lights can be tiring on long visits
- A companion if you are nervous or having sedation
The morning of treatment
Eat a light meal
Unless your specialist asked you to fast for sedation, eat lightly 1–2 hours before your visit.
Brush gently
Brush and floss as normal. Skip mouthwash containing alcohol on the morning of surgical procedures.
Arrive 15 minutes early
Give yourself time for parking at The Shoppes at City of Dreams and a calm check-in. Reception will guide you to the clinic.
